I was professor for Computer Science at the Freie Universität Berlin and headed the group on Networked Information Systems. I worked in several companies that I founded or co-founded. Semantic technologies were made a business with our startup “Ontonym – passendes einfach finden”. Research oriented services such as conference organisations were provided by my spin-off is-research GmbH.
